Information Technology, Client Services, is offering presentation and hands-on computer courses for faculty and staff at the University of Lethbridge.

Webex Overview
Starting with an overview of what Webex is, participants will see what is involved in using this popular audio and video conferencing tool. This demonstration presentation will cover what you need to know to use this collaboration tool.

Windows 8
Become acquainted with the newest release of the Windows operating system. Learn about the updates and enhancements found in Windows 8, how to transition seamlessly to the revamped user interface, navigate through the system with gestures and keyboard shortcuts.

Introduction to Word 2013
The basic skills to type documents using the program Microsoft Word 2013 will be taught. How to enter and edit information, save and retrieve files, using tabs, bullets and autocorrect will be covered. Learn to use spell check and format the document you produce.

Introduction to Excel 2013
In this course participants will learn to use a spreadsheet to perform basic calculations. After learning to enter and edit information the course covers various spreadsheet examples to help participants learn how to format spreadsheet information and print the worksheets.

Introduction to OneNote 2013
See how to create digital notes, store them, and be able to search notes for information you need. Learn to create and use shared notebooks, add media content to notes, and run optical character recognition.

Introduction to PowerPoint 2013
Learn to use this popular presentation program to build your own slide shows. Participants will see how easy it is to put text, pictures, sound and movies on the screen and run a show.

Introduction to Acrobat Pro XI
Starting with an overview of reader participants will learn to create, edit and distribute PDF documents.
