What is this notice about?
IT Services will be performing an authentication upgrade to our Single Sign On solution which is used by a number of systems.
These include:
- AcademicWorks
- ACM Digitial Library
- Archives
- Bomgar
- Canarie
- Canto
- Careerbridge
- CollegeNet
- Concur
- Connect2SP
- Eduroam
- Ematerials
- Knowbe4
- Proquest
- Qualtrics
- Refworks
- Service Now
- Sona
- Syzygy
- Tableau
- Uniweb
- Zoom
Systems that are NOT impacted are Moodle, Banner/Bridge, Microsoft 365.
When will this happen?
The upgrade will happen on Wednesday, February 24, at 7 a.m.
Who will be affected and how?
All users of the systems mentioned above will be migrated to the new and improved login experience.
This upgrade will drastically cut down on the number of times you will be prompted to login. Additionally, it will further support significant security enhancements such as Multi Factor Authentication.
There is no downtime expected with this upgrade. The login screen will look slightly different and you will need to login with your full email address rather than the first.last name.
Why is this happening?
This upgrade is being done to keep our Single Sign On software solutions up to date and secure.
