Auditions are open for Yisstsiiyi, a production from the Drama Department in partnership with the Making Treaty 7 Cultural Society!
Yisstsiiyi is a theatrical collection of stories and reflections about this land and its history, incorporating elements of dance, music, mask and choral speech.
Directors are looking for actors, dancers and musicians from all disciplines and styles. Indigenous students, regardless of theatre or performing experience, are encouraged to join. Musicians of any style, traditional or contemporary, are also welcome to audition.
Auditions take place on Monday, September 11 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Callbacks will be held on September 12 from 4:30 to 10 p.m.
