The University Library is saddened by the passing of Bruce Haig, former teacher and Lethbridge historian, on May 11, 2022.
Bruce authored many books on the history of Lethbridge and southern Alberta. In 2016, Bruce contacted the University Library to build a partnership to share his content and take over his website to make sure everyone would continue to have access to his historical materials. From there, this partnership turned into a wonderful collaboration, focusing on digitizing publications created by Bruce and creating the very popular digital yearbook collection in the University Library.
