The 2020 Long Service Awards and Retiree Recognition Ceremony is being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This ceremony, which includes the President’s Award for Service Excellence, the Long Service Awards and Retiree Recognition, recognizes AUPE, APO, ESS and faculty members for their years of service to the University. At this time, the University hopes to reschedule the event in the fall.
“Our employees are our most valuable asset and each year we look forward to honouring them at our spring celebration,” says President and Vice-Chancellor Mike Mahon. “We regret having to postpone this year’s ceremony and I thank each and every one of this year’s recipients for their contributions to this University.”
