2019 Common Book Project

The School of Liberal Education's Common Book Project, now in its third year at the U of L, has chosen Moon of the Crusted Snow, by Waubgeshig Rice at this year's book choice. We're excited by the interest shown in this book so far and we encourage everyone in the U of L community — students, faculty, staff and alumni — to read the book!

--   Anyone with a U of L ID can get free online access to the book through the U of L Library!  Go to

 http://search.ebscohost.com.ezproxy.uleth.ca/login.aspx?direct=true&db=nlebk&AN=1835948&site=ehost-live&scope=site

and click on PDF full text on the left side.

-- More information on the project and the book, including an instructional and reading guide, is available at http://www.uleth.ca/liberal-education/common-book-project

-- And last but not least, Waubgeshig Rice is going to be at Word on the Street on Saturday, Sept. 21. This event is at the Lethbridge Public Library and his visit is co-sponsored by the School of Liberal Education. He's doing a reading at 3 p.m. and a book signing at 4 p.m., so this is a great opportunity for us all to hear first-hand about the book!
