Does your department recruit student volunteers? If so, the University of Lethbridge Students' Union and Volunteer Lethbridge invite you to participate in the Student Volunteer Fair!
This year’s Volunteer Fair will coincide with the launch of the Student Volunteer Initiative program with the goal of increasing volunteerism amongst students in Lethbridge. The event will provide you the opportunity to promote your organization’s volunteer opportunities to hundreds of students (for an idea of the volume, last year’s Career Fair had approximately 1,500 attendees). This event will be on November 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the University of Lethbridge 1st Choice Savings Centre for Sport and Wellness. Accompanied by the booth fair will be a series of breakout sessions for organizations who are interested in putting on a short presentation to students about their organization and the volunteer opportunities they have.
The cost to register a booth for the fair is $50 per booth. This cost will cover booking the area, a $10 per person lunch for the day, printing, parking and promotion. The deadline for registering booths is October 16. If you are interested in attending the fair, please visit our survey website.
