Students have the opportunity to say thank you to scholarship donors this week as three thank-you card roadshows get underway.
University Advancement wanted to make the process of saying thank you an easy one for students.
“Award donors tell us the most impactful communication they receive from the University every year is a thank-you card from the student who receives their award,” says Barry Knapp, director of development.
To boost student participation rates, blank thank-you cards will be made available to students and the cost of mailing will be covered by University Advancement.
Students can attend the card roadshow of their choice and take a few minutes to write their message of thanks:
- Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Centre for the Arts Atrium
- Thursday, Oct. 24, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1st Choice Savings Centre
- Tuesday, Oct. 29, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Science Commons Atrium, Level 7
Students who are unable to attend one of the roadshows can find free thank-you cards to complete and drop off at Scholarships and Student Finance (AH115), University Advancement (A735, University Hall), Pronghorn Athletics (PE209), School of Graduate Studies (B610) and University Library, General Services Desk (L1007).
