The University of Lethbridge (Lethbridge campus) will resume classes as scheduled and regular operations on October 1, 2019.

Great progress by University of Lethbridge snow removal crews coupled with improving weather conditions has led to this decision.

Students, faculty, staff and members of the public accessing the University should expect some accessibility issues. Some parking lots and walking paths will have snow cover and slippery conditions are expected. Additionally, pedestrians should be aware of the possibility of snow and ice falling from some buildings.

The University continues to encourage those travelling to use extreme caution.

The University understands the cancellation of classes on September 30, 2019 may have inconvenienced faculty, staff and students. As mentioned in earlier messages, students should contact their professors regarding class, practicum or field work affected by the closure. Faculty members with questions should contact their respective dean's office.

The University of Lethbridge extends our special thanks to the snow removal crews and all of those who worked in challenging conditions today and over the weekend to provide necessary services to our community of residence students and ensuring vital university operations were maintained during this weather event.
