Title:
"Lunar Arithmetic,
Or How to Use a Misleading Title to Attract People to a Pure Math Talk"
Abstract:
"Sorry, no, I won't be discussing the mathematics that got humans to the Moon. No Katherine Johnson, no Schmidt-Kalman Filter. Instead, I will show how the rigid avoidance of a single, prevalent aspect of basic arithmetic leads to an algebra so out of this world that the adjective "Lunar" becomes apropos, yet so deep that it allows for a new set of [dramatic pause] PRIME NUMBERS! O.O"
