2019/2020 Annual Cyber Security Training Program launched

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

With the introduction of the Information Security Awareness and Training policy, we are pleased to announce the launch of the 2019/20 training campaign. As per the policy, all faculty and staff are required to take this training.

The training takes about an hour to complete, but can be done in multiple sittings without losing progress. This year's training will also cover Social Engineering Red Flags, an increasingly common type of attack seen at the University.

The staff campaign has already begun and the faculty campaign will begin on Oct. 1, 2019

To access the training, please visit the KnowBe4 login page at: https://go.uleth.ca/it-training, or because links are generally seen as suspicious in emails, you can cut and paste the text of the above link into the address bar of your browser instead of clicking on the link.

For additional information on the training program, please visit the IT Security training page (will require you to login) at: https://go.uleth.ca/infoseccourses.

If you have any concerns about the validity of this email, please reach out to the Solutions Centre staff using the contact information below.

If you would like to request additional training for yourself or your team(s), please reach out to the Information Security Office to discuss your needs. There is a variety of training available.

Thank you for helping us keep the University of Lethbridge safe from cybercrime.
