Elite performers know that physical conditioning and good nutrition are critical in reaching peak performance levels. Too often, however, the important role of quality sleep in high performance is overlooked.
Join sleep expert Dr. Amy Bender to discuss the science and practice of high performance sleep behaviours.
Dr. Bender is senior research scientist at Calgary Counselling Centre and an adjunct assistant professor in kinesiology at the University of Calgary. She has developed the only sleep screeing questionnaire for high performance athletes, and she has optimized sleep and performance for athletes with Canada's Olympic teams, various professional teams, and other high performance clients.
