Handling office waste - RECYCLING IS IN YOUR HANDS

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

In September 2015, individual office waste bins were removed in favour of main waste sorting stations in designated areas.

Faculty and staff may request a small black waste bin that attaches to your blue desk-recycling bin. You may also request an organics-only green bin that also attaches to the blue desk-recycling unit.

These small black & green bins will be your responsibility to empty at the main sorting station in your designated area daily. If you do not have a blue desk-recycling bin please request one through www.uleth.ca/facilities service desk - work request.

Office common areas:

Caretaking will have waste, paper, plastic, and compost sorting stations provided for your use in your common area e.g. lunchroom, hallway, or corridor depending on your area.

At the end of every workday, you are asked to empty your black waste bin/green organics bin if you have requested one at the sorting station in your designated area. Caretaking will not pick up waste, compost, or blue recycling bins from your office.

Thank you, RECYCLING IS IN YOUR HANDS.
