IMPORTANT NOTICE
ASBESTOS REMOVAL-UNIVERSITY HALL - D874
Please be advised between June 2, 2017 to June 3, 2017 contractors will be performing asbestos removal in D874. During this time, there will be no admittance into this space.
This is a normal procedure for any repair work executed involving asbestos abatement. Removal will be completed consistent with the requirements of the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Code, and performed by trained and certified workers pursuant to the required code of practice to ensure that there is no health risk to public or construction workers. Air monitoring will be completed by an independent environmental technologist and the reports will be posted on the Safety Services website.
