ULSU GENERAL ELECTIONS 2017-2018

• Available in room SU180
• If you are running for an Executive Council position you are required to pay a $20 deposit when you submit your nomination form. This deposit is returnable if the candidate receives a minimum of 10% of the votes for that position.

Nominations open:    Monday, February 6, 2017 at 8:30 am
Nominations close:    Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 3:00 pm
Orientation meeting:    Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 5:00 pm in Galileo's
Campaigning begins:    Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 8:30 am
Campaigning closes:    Monday, March 6, 2017 at 8:30 am

Executive Debate

If you are a Calgary campus student please stop by your U of L office on your campus for an election package complete with a nomination form and detailed information.

ALL FORMS MUST BE FAXED TO THE ULSU LETHBRIDGE CAMPUS BEFORE THEIR DEADLINES FOR YOUR CANDIDACY TO BE VALID

1. Nomination Form - DEADLINE Feb 16, 2017 at 3:00 pm

2. Letter of Academic Standing - DEADLINE Feb 16, 2017, 3:00 pm
All candidates will need to contact the Registrars office (403-320-5700) for a letter of academic standing. Please ask the Registrars office if they can take your letter directly to the ULSU office or phone the ULSU office for someone to pick it up. 

3. Financial Standing Report - DEADLINE Feb 16, 2017 at 3:00 pm
Your financial standing report may be obtained via the Cash Office section of The Bridge Web Information System verifying that the nominee has paid at least 50% of their total student fees for the semester

4. Candidate's Agreement Form - DEADLINE Feb 24, 2017 at 4:00 pm
Calgary Campus candidates are not required to attend the Candidate Orientation meeting on the Lethbridge campus.  However, you are required to read through the powerpoint presentation and sign a copy of the Candidate agreement form as supplied in your election package.
