New Room Booking Procedure for Andy's Place, Markin Atrium and UCA Atrium

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

As of today, the booking of AH100 (Andy’s Place), Markin Hall Atrium & Patio and the UCA Atrium & Patios will be facilitated through Microsoft Outlook calendars.

Instructions on how to book using Outlook can be found at www.uleth.ca/anc/facility along with an event check list and other pertinent information when it comes to booking events on campus.

One significant change of the new system is that the person booking the space is responsible for booking sufficient time before and after their event to allow for set-up and tear-down of the space. In EMS, an arbitrary amount of time was added by the system before and after the booking. Please read the information on the web page carefully before booking a space for the first time.  PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT BOOK SPACE FOR INDIVIDUAL TABLES. Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis in both Markin and UCA Atriums.

Similar to the EMS booking system, Outlook Calendar provides an avenue for faculty and staff to book events on campus.  This self-serve system allows space to be utilized free of charge for University functions because it is not dependant on a department for facilitation.  It is up to you as the event booker to ensure that you are following University policies and procedures when it comes to utilizing space on campus.

The www.uleth.ca/anc/facility website has all the information necessary to book your event.
