What is this notice about?

Connections to the VPN (virtual private network) service are proceeding abnormally slow for a limited number of users of the system.

When did this happen?

We are unsure of the start date; it is suspected that a windows security update is interfering with the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client.

If you are affected by this issue and haven’t already reported it to the ITS Solutions Centre, we encourage you to do so. Contact information for the Solutions Centre is below.

Why is this happening?

The cause of this issue is currently unknown. IT Services is working with the vendor on a solution.
