The U of L is currently trialing UNIWeb, a CV management tool that may be helpful to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows preparing applications to SSHRC, NSERC, CIHR, Vanier, or other programs. UNIWeb is fully compatible with the Canadian Common CV (CCV) system, and can both import and export a CCV as needed. Students can use UNIWeb to update an existing CCV, to create a new CCV for upcoming applications, and to find connections with other students and researchers on campus.
A UNIWeb user demo workshop is being held on Monday, August 29th at 2:00PM in E640. Any graduate students or postdoctoral researchers interested in learning about UNIWeb and providing feedback are welcome to attend. Please RSVP to Ryan Booth (ryan.booth@uleth.ca) or Katelyn Mitchell (katelyn.mitchell@uleth.ca) by Friday, August 26th at noon, and be advised that space is limited. If you are unable to attend the workshop, but are interested in giving UNIWeb a try during the trial, please contact Hector MacIntyre to activate your account.
