This morning, June 9, at around 6:30am, campus experienced an unplanned power outage in various sections of a number of buildings. The outage was limited to Anderson Hall (entire building), Student’s Union (partial outage), University Centre for the Arts (partial outage), University Hall (partial) and the south side of LINC.
As of 7:45am this morning, power has been restored to all impacted areas, except Student’s Union and Anderson Hall. We expect both those buildings to have power by 8:30 am.
At this point, we are unclear what exactly happened and are investigating to find the root cause of the problem.
