Did you know that LinkedIn is the world’s most popular online professional networking tool?  It boasts over 347 million members (10 million+ in Canada alone) and a growth rate of more than 2 members every second.  Post-secondary students and recent graduates make up LinkedIn’s fastest-growing demographic, with over 39 million members.  Join Career & Employment Services (CES)  for an interactive presentation to learn more about what LinkedIn is, how you can use it to make connections to grow your network, and tips & tools to make your LinkedIn use more successful.  We will give you the opportunity to explore different functions of LinkedIn and get started on crafting a standout profile.

Here's what you will gain from our LinkedIn presentation:

  • Gain an understanding of the reach and growth of LinkedIn.
  • Learn to build a strong profile.
  • Explore different avenues of making connections and expanding your network through LinkedIn
  • Learn tips, tools, and security settings to get the most out of your LinkedIn usage.
