I will be talking about my journey from an undergraduate student to starting my PhD study but leaving to try working in the industry. I will talk about the interview process for the Big Tech companies, and how competitive programming was the key to interviewing successfully. I will recount some experiences about what working in Big Tech is like. I will also conduct a live mock interview with a guest to show you how a technical interview at Big Tech is done, and what a successful interview looks like.
