Human Capital Theory; Heterogeneity in Labor Economics and Microeconomics

Human Capital has made "labour market" an oxymoron. Allen replaces it with a large number of skill markets. He does the basic analysis of these, shows that it requires that workers be recognized as heterogeneous, and does the analysis of six ways workers differ. From these "falls out" a theory of income distribution.
