Iikaisskini Indigenous Services is inviting Ulethbridge students to show their commitment to reconciliation by creating an original design to be featured on this year’s ULethbridge’s Orange Shirt Day design.

• The winning entry will be chosen by a committee and the successful artist design will become the design for the official ULethbridge Orange Shirt for five years (copyright until 2030/31).
• The winner will also receive an honorarium.
• All artists who submit a design will receive a follow-up email after submission to acknowledge receipt of their submission.

Contest Rules

• The call-out is open to all Ulethbridge students (undergraduate and graduate).  
• Artwork must be the individual's original design and suitable for printing on a t-shirt.
• Artwork can be submitted via email as a high-quality PNG or JPEG file.
  • Please also include an artist statement explaining the design (max one-page)
• Only one submission per person.
• Entries must be complete and submitted with the title Orange Shirt Day.

The deadline for submission is April 10, 2026, at 5 p.m.
