Drawing from personal experiences and in-depth interviews, Huntemann uses the Internet harassment campaign, #Gamergate, to explore the history of female gamers.
"Playing Like a Girl" demonstrates how feminist theory and theories of play upend long held assumptions about gender and videogames.
