Condolence Notice — Peter Haney

Monday, January 19, 2026

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends and former colleagues of Peter Haney, who passed away Jan. 11, 2026, at the age of 80. 

Haney was a longtime employee of ULethbridge who held several positions over the years. He was Coordinator of Financial Aid and Awards from 1977 to 1991. He then served as Coordinator from 1991 to 1993 and as Assistant Registrar of Admissions from 1993 to 2008. Haney then served Special Projects until 2010.
