Travelling abroad for academic or research activities? Stay Informed and Prepared

As many students and employees travel for academic or research activities, here are a few resources to support your planning and ensure your safety.

All the resources are available via SharePoint:

Before your trip, all staff and students are required to:

  1. Complete the mandatory Off-Campus Activity documentation (Hazard Assessment and Safety Plan) and submit it to safety.services@uleth.ca prior to departure
  2. Complete the travel course on Moodle, "International Travel Risk Orientation - Students" Moodle course
  3. Sign the travel waiver, and
  4. Register your travel.

Everyone is encouraged to:
Be up to date with your immunizations; carry appropriate medication.

  1. Review relevant travel guidance and safety considerations outlined in the materials provided.
