Retirement celebration for Heather Mirau

After 46 years of service, Heather Mirau has retired. A celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Andy's Place (AH100).

Heather began her career at ULethbridge in the Faculty of Education and soon became known for her keen entrepreneurial and management skills. She excelled at facilitating conversations and ideas among academics, staff and administrators and found creative ways to better support students. Heather later joined the provost's office, where she was asked to assist and guide the formal development of the Academic Plan and three institutional priorities — internationalization, liberal education and Indigenization.
