Please join us September 1st, 2021, 1-4 p.m. in the Science Commons patio to celebrate Jasminn's exceptional 22-year career at the University of Lethbridge. Due to ongoing health concerns, Jasminn has made the difficult decision to retire and focus on her health and spending time with her family. Jasminn’s family and colleagues invite you to drop by, say hello, and wish her well.

The more “formal” part of this event will start at 1:30 p.m. with a short presentation. Drop-in’s welcome. There will be a cash bar and individually plated appetizers. We hope to see you there.

Jasminn is a passionate advocate for Work-Integrated Learning programs, specifically co-operative education and applied studies. She worked tirelessly to support student success over a brilliant 22-year career. During this time Jasminn established a growing network of academic, community and industry partnerships that will have a tremendous impact on the lives of students now and far into the future.

In lieu of gifts, Jasminn kindly requests that donations be made to the newly-established student award in her name: The Jasminn Berteottti Award for Work-Integrated Learning (go.uleth.ca/berteotti-WIL-award). Jasminn's hope is that this award will continue her work in some small way, helping students discover joy through education and experience. Donations to this award can also be made at the event.

PLEASE NOTE:

• This event will be held entirely outdoors. Please dress for the weather.
• Visitors to campus are asked to access the Science Commons patio from outside and not travel through the building. Entrance to this space will be found on the parking lot side of the building. Please refer to the signage.
• Face masks are required.
