This collaboratively sponsored presentation features keynote by Dr. Jane O’Dea, Professor and Dean Emerita of Education, University of Lethbridge. She will speak On Being Female in Senior Academic Administration.
Dr. Susan McDaniel FRSC, Director of the Prentice Institute, Prentice Research Chair, and Professor of Sociology will offer remarks on the challenges of being a woman leader in research.
Dr. Shelly Wismath, Dean of the School of Liberal Education, Professor of Math and Liberal Education and 3M Winner, will offer remarks on challenges of being a woman leader in teaching.
The event is sponsored by The Women Scholars’ Speaker Series, the University of Lethbridge Faculty Association, and The Prentice Institute for Global Population and Economy.
The event is free and open to the public.
