Life history consequences of large-scale ecological change

Dr. Rennie’s research interests focus on the role of ecosystem change (e.g., climate change, commercial and recreational fishing, species invasions) on the aquatic community structure and energetics, and understanding how behavioural and life history variation of aquatic organisms drives population and ecosystem-level processes. Dr. Rennie was a research scientist with Fisheries and Oceans Canada, leading independent research programs at the Experimental Lakes Area, before joining IISD in 2014. He has recently been appointed a Canada Research Chair in Freshwater Ecology at Lakehead University in Thunderbay, Ontario.

Please join us in the AWESB for this exciting seminar series!
