The challenge is over, the FOOD is in and counted. What a great and generous campus community we have here at the University of Lethbridge. Shelves are overflowing and the ULSU is so very grateful to all the departments and everyone who donated.
In a very close competition, the winner of the ULSU Food Bank Challenge is… Financial Services with 414 food items and $558.05 in cash donated.
IT was a close second with 326 food items and $508 collected. Facilities donated 205 food items and $477. The Registrar’s Office donated 180 food items. The Teaching Centre donated 77 food items and Materials Management donated 15 food items.
We would also like to extend our thanks to the following groups for their incredible monetary support: General Faculties Council - $443.25; Senate - $925.00; Board of Governors - $1,050.00; Lethbridge Rotary Club - $1,000.00
These donations will go a long way to help the students who are struggling and we at the ULSU are extremely grateful to everyone for their generosity.
