Truth and Reconciliation Week: Film Screening of The Pass System

The EDI office in collaboration with the Library is pleased to offer the film screening of The Pass System.

Working towards meaningful reconciliation must start with the acknowledgment of the past.

Nominated for Best Historical Documentary and for the Barbara Sears Award for Best Editorial Research, this documentary offers a deep understanding of the hidden history of racial segregation. In this historical documentary written, produced and directed by Alex Williams, attendees will learn about the 60 years of racial segregation in Canada's history and the basic rights of Indigenous people.
