Screening and conversation with Bhutanese-Canadian filmakers
The Story Bridge is a documentary film that chronicles the migration of Bhutanese refugees from the Himalayas to exile in Nepal followed by resettling and getting established in Lethbridge, which is the home of the largest such community in Canada. The film was made by members of this community along with UL Master of Arts Candidate, Jeff Bingley. Discussion at this session will include representatives of the Bhutanese community in Lethbridge.
