One of the last movies made with the Late Narcisse Blood and his long time friend and colleague Ryan Heavy Head. Narcisse and Ryan were part of the founders of the Kainai Studies program.
Kelly Teamey and Udi Mandel were disenfranchised Oxford trained academics. Looking for different methods of learning and teaching. They came to the Blood Reserve after being invited by Narcisse to observe the Kainai Studies unique methods.
This film is about the importance of Kainai Studies to the students and the eventual demise of this ground breaking program.
