Join Iikaisskini Indigenous Services for the Opening Ceremony to kick-off Indigenous Awareness Week.
This includes a traditional Blackfoot Naming Ceremony for four members of the ULethbridge community:
- Dr. Erasmus Okine, Provost and Vice-President (Academic)
- Martha Mathurin-Moe, Vice-Provost (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion)
- Mike Whipple (BA ’03), Executive Director, President and Provost Offices
- Dr. Kerry Godfrey, Vice-Provost (Calgary) and Dean, Dhillon School of Business
It will also include a round dance and honour dance for Dr. Mike Mahon, President & Vice-Chancellor, and Chancellor Charles Weaselhead.
