FREE STAR WEAVING WORKSHOP Today at the University of Lethbridge, meeting room W850, 12PM - 3PM. Come along and learn how to make a Maori Star with Kirsten Lyttle.
This is part one of a photographic project called Te Whare Pora (The House of Weaving/The Weaving School), where she is photographing indigenous women around the world who she has woven with and weaving their portraits in patterns from their homelands.
Part Two will be a photographic shoot in the photo studio of the Art Department, Lethbridge University, between 9:30AM and 12:30PM tomorrow, for indigenous women only.
