Long Nights Against Procrastination!

Reading Week will be upon you soon, and if you haven’t done so, it’s the perfect time to seek the help you may need, perform that research and get those assignments started!

The Faculty of Arts and Science, Student Success Centre, and University Library are pleased to offer the Long Nights Against Procrastination! Through the days and nights of November 6 and 7, you can expect some of the following activities in the Library Information Network Centre (LINC):

TUESDAY
• Chemistry drop-in tutorial: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. (L1102, Prentice Boardroom)
• Computer Science drop-in tutorial: 6 to 8 p.m. (L1114)
• Mathematics/statistics drop-in tutorial: 6 to 8 p.m. (L1050)
Presentations:
• 4 p.m.: “7 Cups” by Judi Franco (Library “Alcove” Level 10)

WEDNESDAY
• Computer Science drop-in tutorial: 6 to 8 p.m. (L1114)
• Mathematics/statistics drop-in tutorial: 6 to 8 p.m. (L1050)
Presentations:
• 4 p.m.: LibraryHacks by Romany Craig (Library “Alcove” Level 10)
• 5 p.m.: Project Sandbox: So you were told to use the Library: Digital Media technology available in the Library by Rob Horlacher (Library “Alcove” Level 10)

• Extended Library reference/research service hours (8 to 11 p.m.; Library; both nights)
• Extended Library media and technology support hours (6 to 11 p.m.; Library; both nights)

It’s not all about studying either! Give yourself the break you deserve and need. Throughout the evening hours, there will be coffee, tea, and snacks available to help fuel you through the hours. Other respites include board games, colouring book exercises and the Lego Table.
