Please join us for a panel discussion on Open Access publishing. What is it? Why would you want to do it? What are your options? Panelists include Judith Kulig (Health Sciences), John Vokey (Psychology), and Rumi Graham (Library), along with the University Librarian from the University of Alberta, Gerald Beasley. Mr. Beasley is an advocate of Open Access, and was instrumental in Concordia University's adoption of a campus-wide open access policy.
Open Access has become a major force in scholarly publishing, and an important alternative to the big commercial scholarly publishers. Where do you choose to publish, and why?
It promises to be a great discussion, and we welcome you to add your voice - and your questions - to the conversation.
Time: 12 noon
Date: Thursday, October 27th
Location: L950 (Library)
