The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme offers university graduates the opportunity to live and work in Japan. Established in 1987, more than 57,000 JET Programme participants from around the world have gone to Japan to improve English language education and promote grassroots level internationalization. Sponsored by the Government of Japan, it is one of the largest and most respected government supported exchange programs in the world.
Participants work as either Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs), teaching English in public primary and secondary schools, or as Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs), assisting in various internationally-themed projects at selected local government offices across Japan.
Learn more about the JET Programme at an information session on October 22nd, from 5:00-6:00 pm at the University of Lethbridge, room AH116. Anyone interested in the JET Programme is invited to attend. In the meantime, learn more about the program at www.jetprogramme.ca.
*CES asks you to sign up so we can provide companies with an attendance list which assists them in ordering food and ensures we book an adequate room. If you MUST CANCEL please let us know as soon as possible by emailingces.students@uleth.ca with the name and date of the info session you wish to cancel.
