In a world where opinion has become equal, if not ascendant to, evidence and data, how does policy fare?
In this panel, presented by the Prentice Institute, scientists and policy makers will discuss how data is, and is not, integrated into public health policy. Speakers include Dr. Danièle Behn Smith Deputy Public Health Officer – Indigenous Health with the BC Office of the Provincial Health Officer; and Dr. Matt Bowes, Chief Medical Examiner for the Province of Nova Scotia.
