The Humanities Innovation Lab presents a talk by Md Nazmul Arefin titled Community policing in preventing violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism. Arefin is a PhD candidate and Killam Scholar at the Centre for Criminological Research in the Department of Sociology at the University of Alberta. He is also a research fellow at the Canadian Institute for Far-Right Studies.
