FLARE, in collaboration, with the University of Lethbridge Students’ Union (ULSU) Vice President Academic, will host a one-day conference on Friday, April 17, at the University of Lethbridge. The symposium will be a campus-wide space for undergraduate students to present diverse projects and research, practice project-based communication and connect across a multitude of disciplines. All accepted submissions will be held April 17th between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. followed by an awards "social" that is open to all symposium attendees. While you may only be presenting at a specific time frame, we highly encourage you to set time aside to participate and engage with your peers’ presentations and network during the awards reception. Free lunch provided during the day and visitors are welcome. Our post-conference award ceremony will follow after the closing keynote speaker in the ULSU Ballrooms with refreshments, competition awards and more networking opportunities.
Competition: All students who present during the symposium are eligible to participate in the conference competition. Cash awards will be given for the best poster, oral and multimedia presentations conducted at undergraduate level, from a wide range of student works. You must indicate below if you wish your presentation to be included in the competition. Judges will be recruited from within the university (faculty, senators, community supporters, etc.), who will be assigned to review numerous presentations.
Free event that is not ticketed.
