In this talk, we review some classic iterative processes: Mann iterative process, Ishikawa iterative process, Halpern iterative process, Viscosity iterative process, hybrid projection iterative process, for solutions of operator equations involving non-expansive operators, strictly pseudo-contractive operators, monotone operators, accretive operators. We present a splitting iterative process for the sum of two accretive operators. Convergence theorems are established in the framework of Banach spaces. Some applications in convex optimization problems are also considered.
