The Community Bridge Lab invites you to attend an upcoming workshop, "Demystifying Fieldwork," on February 6, 2023, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in M1090.
This workshop aims to demystify the fieldwork endeavour through a discussion where undergraduate, graduate, and faculty researchers will share their experiences and speak to the value of fieldwork. Participants will reflect on lessons learned while complicating the idea of "the field." All those who have an interest in exploring and learning more about this research method are welcomed to attend!
Panellists include Rebeca Spencer (Undergraduate Student, Anthropology and Psychology), Amy Cran (Undergraduate Student, Anthropology), Alyssa White (Graduate Student, Anthropology), Dr. Amy Mack (Sessional Instructor, Anthropology), and Dr. Julie Young (Assistant Professor, Geography and Environment).
Student attendees may wish to register for this event on the My Experience Transcript platform to have the experience reflected on their transcript: https://myexperience.uleth.ca/events.htm?evtId=3512. If you have any questions about the event, feel free to contact Amy Cran: a.cran@uleth.ca.
