Openly licensed books and other resources — also known as Open Educational Resources (OERs) are freely available online under licensing that allows reuse, revision and redistribution. In addition to cost savings for students, creating or using OERs in lieu of commercial textbooks can reap other benefits, including the ability to update or revise your OERs as needed.
Sign up for the following workshops to find out more about OERs and how you can create or adapt them for use in your courses or projects.
