How to Make a French Web Series in Southern Alberta
Paris, Montréal, Lethbridge?! Southern Alberta may not sound like an obvious location to shoot a French Language Web Series, but New Media instructor Ryan Harper-Brown did exactly that with Mon Oeil, an original web series created with The Cinemagine Society of Alberta.
Ryan covers how the project came to be, the production process, and how members of the U of L community contributed in its success. He also shares his insights on working on a project in another language and what conclusions can be gleaned for other minority groups in the province wishing to do similar projects.
