Don Gill - Erratic Drawings in Twelve Volumes

"Erratic Drawings" result from taking random walks using GPS technology as a mark making instrument, creating drawings representing the shape of the walk. Gill has been doing this daily since June 2013. His presentation focuses on the section of this ongoing project created during his study leave, July 2013 to June 2014.

Dr. Aaron Taylor - Mask Work: A Study Leave Spent with Actors and Superheroes

Taylor provides a brief overview of research activities conducted during his study leave. The presentation includes descriptions of his work in the areas of performance studies and comics studies: reviews of forthcoming publications on acting in Stanley Kubrick’s films, and adaptations of superhero comics, as well as an update on his CREDO-sponsored research on acting and embodied cognition.
