WHAT: Chillin’ 4 Charity fundraising event for the United Way of Lethbridge and South Western Alberta
WHEN: Wednesday, Oct. 11, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
WHERE: Bus loop outside Students’ Union Building, University of Lethbridge
Dhillon School of Business students from the Management Students’ Society (MSS) have assembled a hearty collection of individuals who will leap into a pool of icy water all in support of the United Way of Lethbridge and South Western Alberta. Many faculty members, students, local celebrities and politicians, including Lethbridge East MLA Maria Fitzpatrick, will take a leap in support of this worthy cause.
Since being initiated in 2005, student groups have raised more than $110,000 for the local United Way chapter.
A BBQ, by donation, will also run in conjunction with the event from 11 a.m. to noon.
