8.00 a.m. Left Hove by special coach for the ROYAL NAVAL REVIEW at Spithead. By invitation of the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty, through the Commander-in-Chief, Portsmouth, provision was made for the visitors to witness the Review from Browndown Range. Arrived at 1.00 p.m.

3.30 p.m. REVIEW OF THE FLEET BY HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN.

5.35 p. m. FLY PAST OF NAVAL AIRCRAFT.

10.30 p.m. SHIPS OF THE FLEET WERE ILLUMINATED SIMULTANEOUSLY BY A SIGNAL GIVEN BY HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN. This was followed by a Firework Display lasting from 10.40 to 10.55 p.m....

... when the group left for Battine House Youth Hostel, East Marden, where the remainder of the night was spent under arrangements made by the Warden and Mrs. Wilson.
