3.30 p.m. All groups attended Evensong in the Cathedral, conducted by the Sub-Dean, the Ven. Archdeacon Julian Bickersteth. 4.30 p.m. Recital in the Cathedral by the Bishop Strachan School Choir. |

Following tea in the County Hotel, we proceeded to HOVE where we were accommodated at Langfords Hotel, Third Avenue, Hove, 3. |

The Mayors of Brighton and Hove extended us the "Freedom" of their respective towns which, among other privileges, provided for the free use of Corporation chairs on the sea front, the Bowling and Putting Greens, admission to the Band Enclosure, bathing and other facilities at the King Alfred.
